Measurement & Capability

SEO Training

Workshops, multi-week programmes, and ongoing coaching built around your team's actual stack and goals. Practical sessions producing real briefs, real audits, and real implementation plans. Covering both Google rankings and AI Search citation work.

Deliverables

Custom training curriculum

Programme built around your team, your stack, and your actual content. Not a generic deck. Modules sequenced to build capability progressively, with practical outputs at the end of each session.

Practical session outputs

Every session produces real work, not just slides. Real briefs your writers can use, real audits of your actual content, real implementation plans for your engineers. Training that pays for itself in the work produced.

AI Search era content

The layer most SEO training misses entirely. How AI engines parse content, what makes pages citation-worthy, how to test for citations, and how to build durable AI Search visibility. Current, not 2020-era SEO.

Frameworks and runbooks

Documented frameworks your team can apply after the programme ends. Brief templates, audit checklists, citation tracking patterns. Built so the discipline does not depend on me being involved going forward.

Capability assessment

Where your team is before the programme, where they are after, and what they can do independently. Documented so the value of the training is visible to leadership.

Ongoing coaching support

For ongoing engagements: monthly check-ins where your team brings their actual work and we work through it together. The bridge between training events and full capability.

Process

01

Discovery call

Thirty minutes. We walk through your team, their roles, their current skill level, and your goals for the programme. By the end I know whether the right shape is a workshop day, a multi-week programme, or ongoing coaching - and what the curriculum should cover.

02

Curriculum design

One week. Programme built around your team, your stack, your goals. Modules sequenced from foundations to applied work, with practical outputs at each stage. Pre-reading and pre-work prepared so the live sessions stay focused.

03

Sessions delivered

Live workshops or programme sessions delivered remotely or onsite. Hands-on work, not slide presentations. Your team brings their actual content, briefs, code, or audits to each session. They leave with the work done, not just the concept learned.

04

Frameworks and runbooks delivered

Throughout the programme: brief templates, audit checklists, citation tracking patterns, and decision frameworks documented for your team to apply. The runbook the programme produces is yours.

05

Capability review and handover

Final session reviews where the team is, what they can now do independently, and what additional support (if any) makes sense. Optional follow-up coaching to bridge the team from learning to durable practice.

FAQs

Who is the training built for?

In-house marketing teams, content teams, engineering teams, and product teams who need SEO discipline as part of their work. Each programme is customised to the team type. Marketing and content teams cover briefs, audits, and AI Search visibility. Engineering teams cover rendering, schema, and pre-deploy testing. Mixed teams cover the working interface between disciplines.

How is this different from generic SEO courses?

Three differences. First, "customised": the curriculum is built around your team, your stack, and your actual content - not generic case studies. Second, "applied": every session produces real outputs (real briefs, real audits, real implementation plans), not just slides. Third, "current": covers AI Search and citation work, not just Google fundamentals that have not been updated since 2020.

Do you train remotely or onsite?

Both. Remote training works well for distributed teams and is the more common format. Onsite training is available across the UK and select European cities. Programme sessions typically run 90 minutes to 3 hours depending on format; workshop days are full-day onsite or split across two half-days remotely.

What team size works?

Workshop days work best for teams of 4 to 8. Multi-week programmes can accommodate up to 12. Ongoing coaching scales for smaller teams (3 to 6) where everyone can bring active work to each session. Larger teams usually benefit from being split into cohorts by role.

Can the team apply what they learn after the programme ends?

That is the point. Every programme delivers documented frameworks, templates, checklists, and runbooks the team owns. The discipline does not depend on me being available going forward. Ongoing coaching is optional for teams that want continuing support, but the programme is designed so it is not required.

Will the training stay current as AI Search evolves?

The principles in the training are durable; the tactics are current as of delivery. The framework documentation includes monitoring guidance so your team can track changes in AI Search themselves. Ongoing coaching engagements include continuing updates as the landscape shifts.

Do you train other agencies or consultancies?

Selectively, yes. Agencies wanting to upskill their team on AI Search and modern technical SEO can engage on the same programmes. Confidentiality and client overlap are scoped during discovery to avoid conflict.

How do you measure training success?

Capability assessment before and after the programme covers what your team can do independently. We measure tangible outputs: briefs produced, audits completed, citation tracking established. Longer-term, the value shows in reduced consultant dependence and faster shipping cycles for SEO work.
